Help for Facebook users - Group messages

As the popularity of Facebook grows and the increased number of applications are utilized by more and more members, I noticed recently a significant lack of information on how to do a few things.
One issue that I see posted is how to send messages to a group of people at once. I’ve seen this mostly in some of the games that are being offered by Facebook third party vendors.
So, here is how you can organize your friends into lists and then send emails/messages to groups of friends:
- Go to your friends list at the top menu of FB. On the left side you should see “Friends List” and a button “Make a New List”.
- Click the button and enter a name for the list
- Hit Enter to create the list
- Next you will get a new screen “Add to list”. Next to the entry field for adding a friend is a link “Select Multiple Friends” click the link and up comes your friends list.
- Select the friends you want to add to the list by clicking each one, once (they will become highlighted/selected).
- When you are done selecting your friends for the list, scroll to the bottom and click the “Save List” button.
There, you’ve made a friends list on Facebook and can send group messages to hearts content.

Help! Yours is the only website I’ve found where I can post a question - facebook has no forums or contact info.
I upgraded to Internet Explorer 8, and now Facebook won’t function. Instead I get a pop-up message from FB that I “have IE 6 and need to upgrade to IE8″ , and the FB page displays overprint of text. I have FB entered as a trusted site in Internet Tools.
Hello P. Eugene Allen,
Thanks for commenting and requesting information…
I know FB has been having issues with IE 8 and are working on resolving them as I write this.
I’ve contacted FB to obtain resolution on this matter for you and will post back here when they reply.
In the meantime, I would suggest using either Firefox or an earlier version of IE. I know IE 7 works fine.
I’ll be testing IE 8 soon (We usually let everyone else test MS products and get the bugs out before we install them for production use) and hopefully will have more information for you shortly.
